  • How to dress
    • Dress for comfortable movement and for the weather. We play regardless of weather unless conditions become unsafe (lightning etc.). Conditions vary greatly in Central PA from one season to the next, so check weather conditions before coming out. You may call our store during normal hours to check on field conditions for a particular day. Many players prefer camoflauge BDU military style clothing, but it is not required. The key is to be comfortable and be able to move easily through woods, underbrush or open fields. All players are required to wear a safety mask which will be provided if you do not have one of your own.
  • What to bring
    • Bring yourself, a good attitude and any equipment you feel you will need (gun, mask, clothing). Linglestown Paintball has rental equipment available at reasonable cost, but because this equipment goes fast on busy dates, it is advisable to call ahead and reserve a date if you will need to rent equipment. DO NOT BRING PAINT PURCHASED ELSEWHERE. Due to safety, liability, and other concerns, outside paint is not allowed. We make paint available at reasonable cost that has been tested and meets all safety and performance standards set by Linglestown Paintball and our insurers. Minors under the age of 18 must bring a parent or release form signed by a parent or guardian in order to play.
  • Rules
    • Listen to your referees at all times. They are there to ensure a safe and fun time, and to make sure that you get the most out of your day at Linglestown Paintball.
    • All Players must wear an approved safety mask which covers the eyes, face and ears. All masks brought in by players are subject to inspection and approval by our staff. Equipment deemed inadequate or unsafe will not be allowed. If necessary we will provide you with a replacement to use for the day. (All rentals include safety mask)
    • Never lift your mask until told to do so. This is for your own safety. The greatest danger to you when playing paintball is a stray shot to the eye. Under NO circumstances will lifting of the mask be tolerated! If caught lifting the mask you will be sentenced to our "time out chair" as a reminder of the danger. If you refuse this reminder, or have repeat violations, you will be asked to leave the premises. (Those asked to leave will receive no refund.)
    • No Outside Paint. Due to safety, liability, and other concerns, outside paint is not allowed. We make paint available at reasonable cost that has been tested and meets all safety and performance standards set by Linglestown Paintball and our insurers. Paint purchased previously at our field or store is allowed, but will be inspected by the staff.
    • Park only in designated areas.
    • 10 foot rule - We play friendly recreational paintball at Linglestown Paintball. If you "surprise" someone or "bunker" them (have them trapped at point blank range), just yell surrender and they are out. DO NOT SHOOT. Modern paintball guns shoot paintballs at velocities up to 300 feet per second and a shot at close range is painful. We are here to have fun!
    • All guns brought in by players must be chronographed. Muzzle velocities may not exceed 280 fps.
    • Our 39 acres are not an ash tray! Those that must smoke, must also dispose of their butts properly. If a trash recepticle is not handy, field dress your butt and put it in your pocket.
